Do I paint commissions? Yes. Send me a good image of what you'd like me to paint. There is no obligation to buy finished work.

Do I do workshops and classes? No, social distancing rules won't allow me to, and I don't have online classes at the moment.

Do I paint only from photographs? No. When I'm travelling I don't have time to sit down and paint...there are too many sights to see, so I take photographs as reference. It's a different matter if not on holiday. I will paint Plen-Air, especially near where I live.

Do I paint every day? No, I never paint on Sundays. I try and paint something on each of the other days...even when I don't really want to. I treat it as a job and discipline myself to just get on with it. I invariably enjoy it once I start.

What is the hardest thing to do? Pick up the brush to paint, but when I do pick it up, it then becomes the hardest thing to put down.

Do I have a dedicated painting area? Yes. I use the gallery when it isn't open to the public. It's important to pick up where you left off, with everything waiting for you. If I had to set everything up every time, I would find it even harder to begin.
Is it safe to visit the gallery? Yes, when you arrange a visit, you are the only ones in the gallery other than myself, and after you leave, the gallery is thoroughly cleaned.
